Amy and her “something blue”- police officer husband got married on my anniversary weekend at the Pickering Barn in Issaquah. Their autumn-themed wedding was darling with lighted pumpkins lining the aisle, lots of dark oranges, purples and burgundies and touches of Disney, one of the bride’s favorites! Amy and Ryan chose to use their arbor flowers for their sweetheart table decor and I loved how both areas turned out.
One of my favorite pictures of Amy’s wedding was with her and her lovely bridesmaids who were all so sweet, welcoming and clearly loved the couple to the moon and back. Look at these beautiful, deep colored dresses!
Another unique element was a family ring tied around the bride’s bouquet as an intimate and delicate reminder of those not able to be present.
From start to finish, this wedding was crafted to reflect the couple and their family. The elements of blue incorporated in the day’s details as a nod to Ryan’s career as a policeman. If you look closely, you will see the cross the bride brought home from an international mission trip. The love at this wedding was readily apparent and I was so touched with some special, delicious bundt cakes the bride gifted me as a thank you for celebrating my wedding anniversary by providing florals for her big day!
Congrats a million times over to the newlyweds! You two are incredible people and may your marriage be blessed!
