Heather and Ben planned a destination holiday wedding at the Rainier Chapter House. They enlisted their friend Alex, owner of Alex Austin Event Design to plan from across the country. Alex hired me and we set to work figuring out how to get bridal party florals and table greenery for the understated evening wedding. I used my connections at a local wholesaler to get three big buckets of italian ruscus for family-style tables.
Friends and family put together the couple’s arbor. Bridesmaids wore shades of burgundy and red and their florals incorporated both shades.
The couple took advantage of the beautiful turn of the century surroundings at their venue for photos. All courtesy of LMS Photo. The bridal party beauty was artfully styled by Swink Style Bar.
The bride was glowing as her father escorted her down the aisle.
The candlelight wedding reception used tables laid with baroque china and guests enjoyed dinner and drinks by Blue Ribbon Catering. Friends and family helped lay the wholesale greens on the tables.
Ben wore a white garden rose and seeded euc with a light grey wrap. His tweed suit was absolutely perfect for the venue!
Since it was in the middle of the winter, it was important to me to include local deep greens and dark burgundies with accents of amaranthus, seeded eucalyptus and juliet garden roses.
Thank you so much for the honor of working with you, Heather and Ben! Your love was so apparent and I wish nothing but the best for both of you!
