Sierra was such a fun bride! She and I met for sparkling wine for our consult and reviewed a ton of ideas and pictures together. I also got to know more about she and Richard, her long time love and their pups. Sierra and Richard have lived in multiple states together, gone through job changes and new friends and adventures and their love took them to a sunny June day at Thornewood Castle in Tacoma, WA.
Right from the start, she knew she wanted unusual flowers and greens for her bouquets and liked my boho chic style. I used lots of ferns, garden roses and ranunculus. I added peach stock, lots of eucalyptus and pops of baby’s breath. I made this garland for their vintage gate, used during the ceremony as a backdrop- the couple planned to transfer it to their sweetheart table for the reception.
The bridesmaids had their bouquets tied with raw silk that the bride had chosen to match their peachy/pink dresses.
Sierra had gone on a hunt for her bridal dress a long time before she married because she knew what she had envisioned would be hard to find but she found exactly what she was looking for in her light and dusty lavender gown.
Sierra trusted me to decorate her cake and just follow my heart. It was my first foray into side tier arrangements and now I’m hooked!
Richard wanted a gardenia for his bout and then varied greenery and wildflowers for his groomsmen.
For centerpieces, we did gathered bud jars and garlands.
